Tour of the Cathedral!

Tuesday night, we all went out to go to a Flamenco Show.  Unfortunately, it was closed so we'll just have to wait and see one in Granada!  Instead, we decided to go hang out by the river and walk around!  We took some great pictures by the Triana bridge!

Denver saying something ridiculous I'm sure

Yesterday after class we went to tour the Cathedral of Sevilla.  It is the third largest cathedral in the world and the biggest one in Spain!  It was so beautiful and I learned a lot...15% of Christopher Columbus is buried there as well as his son, and King Fernando!  King Fernando's body has been preserved and his body is shown once a year in the Cathedral.  He died in 1252 and he still has hair and everything..kind of creepy!  This is a video I found of his body being shown!

After we toured the inside of the Cathedral, we climbed the 34 floors to the top of the tower and got beautiful views of the city!

 We climbed up there!

 Bullring!

Tonight we are going to intercambio (hanging out with local Spaniards) and tomorrow we are going to MALAGA! I'm going scuba diving for the first time and am SO excited about it! I'll blog again probably on Monday or Tuesday!  Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
